Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy describes the personal information Proc Technologies LLC ("Proc", "we") collects about people who visit our website at tryproc.com, use the AI Skill Test at app.tryproc.com, or use Proc for Business (together, the "Service"). It explains what we collect, what we do with it, and your choices.

In short: we collect little, we delete what you type after 30 days, we never sell information that identifies you, and we never share your results with your employer, except as required by law.

Please read this policy carefully before using the Service or giving us personal information. By using the Service, you indicate your understanding that the collection, use, disclosure and retention of your personal information is subject to this policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not consent to that, please do not provide us with your information. This policy does not apply to third-party websites that the Service links to.

The Service is for people aged 18 or over who live in the United States. It is not directed to children, and we delete an account if we learn its holder is under 18.

We also store a few items in your browser: a sign-in key, a copy of your current conversation and your progress, and one cookie that lets the AI assistant work. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Our pages load their fonts from Google, which sees your IP address when they load.

We do not collect video, audio, typing patterns, your location, passwords or government ID numbers. We do not ask for health or other sensitive information, and we ask you to leave it out of what you type.

2. How we use and disclose it

We use your information to provide the test, your results and your account, to take payment, to keep the Service secure and stop abuse, to answer you, and to meet legal duties. People at Proc may review test content to fix problems and to improve our tasks, scoring and coaching. If you opted in, we send occasional emails about AI skills at work. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

AI processing. An AI model from OpenAI writes the assistant's replies and produces your score and coaching, so what you type is sent to OpenAI. Under its terms for business customers, OpenAI does not use this content to train its models, and it keeps its copies for up to 30 days unless the law requires longer. Scoring is automated and is practice feedback only.

In addition to the purposes above, we may also use your personal information:

3. Combined statistics and our pledge

We build statistics based on aggregated, de-identified information that combines many users' results, such as the average score for marketers, and we may publish or sell such data. We hold ourselves to these limits:

4. Who receives your information

We share information only with companies that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit them to that work:

CompanyWhat it doesWhat it receives
OpenAIAI replies and scoringWhat you type, the AI's replies and your answers
RenderHostingEverything we store, encrypted at rest
ResendSending emailYour email address and the emails we send you
StripePaymentsYour email and payment details, if you pay
CloudflareWebsite deliveryWebsite visits, including the pages requested and your IP address
GoogleCompany email and fontsEmails you send us, and your IP address when fonts load

Other people see your information only if you choose. Your nickname, score and level appear on the public leaderboard or a shared score link. The name you enter and your score appear on a group board, which anyone with the link can see.

We may also disclose information as described in section 2: if the law requires it, to protect people or the Service, or to a buyer if the business is sold or merged, who must keep this policy's promises. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Your choices and rights

You can change your leaderboard choice in your account and unsubscribe in any email. You can ask us for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@tryproc.com from your account email. We will use reasonable efforts to respond promptly, generally within 30 days from the date we receive and verify the request. We reserve the right to deny any request, except as the law requires. We never treat anyone worse for making a request.

If you use Proc through your employer, we may pass your request to your employer and follow its instructions, as the law and our contract with your employer require. We do not give your employer your results when we do, except as required by law.

Deleting your account removes your email, nickname, scores, choices and any test content still on file. We cannot remove your part of combined statistics, because nothing in them is linked to you. Deleted information can remain in our hosting provider's encrypted backups for about a week before it is overwritten. Our service providers may also keep copies for a limited time under their own retention schedules: for example, our AI provider keeps copies of what you typed for up to 30 days, and our payment provider keeps payment records as the law requires.

6. Health information

We do not ask for health information, and we ask you not to type it. If something you type does reveal health information, we use it only to provide the test you asked for, keep it for 30 days with the rest of your test, never sell it, and share it only with the service providers in section 4. You can ask us to delete it sooner at support@tryproc.com.

7. Security

We sign you in with one-time codes and store no passwords. Sign-in keys and codes are stored in scrambled form, traffic is encrypted, stored data is encrypted by our hosting provider, and access is limited to the people who run the Service. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

8. If your employer gave you access (Proc for Business)

If you use Proc through your employer, we handle your information on your employer's behalf under a contract, and we use it only to provide the program, to build de-identified statistics as described in section 3, to keep the Service secure, and to meet legal duties. That contract bars us from showing your employer your score, level, prompts, answers or coaching. The notice and other terms you see, or can access, before you start say exactly what your employer sees, and describe the other features and terms of Proc for Business.

9. Changes and contact

From time to time, we may change this policy. We will notify you of any material change by posting an updated copy on the Service and updating the date above. Please check it periodically. For important changes we will also email you or ask you to accept again before you continue using the Service.
